Prime Minister of Belarus Alexander Turchin and Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Anton Alikhanov discussed issues of industrial cooperation during a meeting in Minsk, BelTA has learned. "The minister and I have already briefly discussed our conceptual approaches to further cooperation. Recently, cooperation between our countries, if not perfect, is very close to this state," said Alexander Turchin.
Anton Alikhanov emphasized the high level of cooperation with Belarus and announced new plans for industrial cooperation. "I believe that we have many joint projects ahead of us, not only on the development of existing enterprises, but also on the creation of completely new cooperative projects. I am sure that we will have an undoubted success," he stressed.
The meeting discussed issues of cooperation, including in microelectronics, light industry, and automotive industry. The Minister also noted the interest in using Russian automotive electronics at BELGEE and the importance of the Amkodor-Onego project for logging.
The parties also discussed joint projects in other countries, including Uzbekistan and African countries.
Alikhanov proposed holding a joint board meeting in Moscow in December with the participation of representatives of Bellegprom to study the issues of cooperation in more detail.
