Within the framework of the International Industrial Exhibition INNOPROM, the Minsk Automobile Plant (MAZ) and FSUE NAMI – Russia's leading scientific organization in the field of automotive engineering – discussed the prospects for cooperation in the development of innovative Belarusian designs. This was reported by the corporate Telegram channel of OJSC MAZ.
At a working meeting between MAZ Deputy Director for Marketing Oksana Mikheeva and representatives of NAMI, plans were outlined for joint work in the field of bench and road tests, as well as the creation of testing methods for intelligent transport systems, which is especially important for new MAZ developments.
Earlier, representatives of the Minsk Automobile Plant visited the Scientific Research Automobile and Automotive Engine Institute NAMI and its test center in Dmitrov, where they discussed cooperation in the field of design, training, and testing. The discussion focused on the development of electronic control systems, automatic transmissions, intelligent systems for unmanned vehicles, telematics and remote diagnostics systems, as well as the professional development of MAZ employees. The possibility of conducting tests of various systems and components, including air conditioning, heating, transmission, suspension, and braking systems, was discussed.
The Minsk Automobile Plant is the flagship of the automotive industry in Belarus, producing a wide range of trucks, passenger and special vehicles, including about 500 models and modifications. It is expected that it will take part in INNOPROM. Belarus, which will be held from September 29 to October 1 in Minsk.
