Belarus intends to significantly intensify cooperation with the Novosibirsk Region of Russia in various fields, with particular attention to the industrial sector. This was announced by the Head of the Presidential Administration of Belarus, Dmitry Krutoy, at a meeting with a delegation from the Novosibirsk Region, headed by Governor Andrey Travnikov.
The President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, has set the task of bringing cooperation with the Siberian Federal District to a new level, focusing on increasing trade turnover with the Novosibirsk Region to $500 million.
Concrete results of cooperation in the field of machine tool construction are already visible, where the Krasny Borets and StankoGomel plants are making their first deliveries of products.
For the upcoming International Industrial Exhibition INNOPROM in Minsk, it is planned to prepare a large-scale presentation of the capabilities of Belarusian machine tool enterprises, not only for the Novosibirsk Region but also for all regions of Russia. This will demonstrate the potential of Belarusian industry and strengthen partnerships between the regions of the two countries.
