Belarus and Russia May Reach USD 70 Billion in Bilateral Trade by the End of 2026

Belarus and Russia continue to strengthen their industrial and economic cooperation. By the end of 2026, bilateral trade between the two countries could reach a record-breaking USD 70 billion.

This assessment was made by Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Alexey Overchuk. It was also noted that Belarus and Russia have already achieved a new all-time recordin mutual trade in goods and services, reaching USD 62 billion.

The two countries are placing particular emphasis on the development of a unified industrial policy and joint industrial cooperation projects. In particular, products manufactured jointly by Belarusian and Russian enterprises will be granted the status of "Union State products," creating additional opportunities for companies in both countries and expanding their access to government support measures.

Regional cooperation remains another important area of collaboration. During the forum, representatives of Belarusian regions held meetings with their Russian counterparts to discuss joint projects in mechanical engineering, petrochemicals, and industrial construction.

The further development of industrial cooperation between Russia and Belarus will be one of the key topics of “INNOPROM. Belarus”, the international industrial exhibition that will be held in Minsk for the second time from 30 September to 2 October 2026.
