The Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus are collaborating on the creation of a joint brand, the ‘Union State Goods,’ aimed at enhancing the recognition of goods from both countries in domestic and international markets. This initiative was announced by Dmitry Volvach, Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation.
According to Volvach, the criteria and approaches for classifying goods under this brand have already been defined. Preliminary results of this work are expected to be presented at the upcoming intergovernmental consultations between Russia and Belarus.
The ‘Union State Goods’ label may encompass household appliances, automotive goodss, and food items, marking a new phase in the integration efforts between the two nations.
The establishment of a unified system for assigning the ‘Union State Goods’ status is intended to showcase the achievements and successes of industrial cooperation between Russia and Belarus.
Discussions on the prospects for the development of Russian-Belarusian cooperation are anticipated to be a significant topic at the forthcoming international industrial trade fair, INNOPROM. Belarus, scheduled to take place from September 29 to October 1 in Minsk.
