Denis Manturov Pays Working Visit to the Republic of Belarus
First Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Denis Manturov paid a working visit to the Republic of Belarus, where he was received by President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko. The President presented the First Deputy Prime Minister with the Order of Friendship of Peoples.
Under decrees previously signed by the President of Belarus, the Order of Friendship of Peoples was also awarded to Prime Minister of Russia Mikhail Mishustin for his significant personal contribution to strengthening friendly relations and cooperation between Belarus and Russia, and to Denis Manturov for his significant personal contribution to the development of trade and economic relations, industrial and military-technical cooperation between the two countries, and the strengthening of the technological sovereignty of the Union State.
Alexander Lukashenko and Denis Manturov discussed priority projects and areas of trade and industrial cooperation. In 2025, trade between Russia and Belarus increased by approximately 3%. Positive dynamics have continued this year: in the first six months alone, bilateral trade grew by 12.5%.
Denis Manturov emphasized that industrial products account for a significant share of bilateral trade — almost 65% last year. At the same time, according to the First Deputy Prime Minister, relations between the two countries extend beyond trade and are also developing through close industrial cooperation.
The First Deputy Prime Minister also met with Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Turchin. Among other issues, the sides discussed cooperation in aircraft manufacturing, automotive manufacturing and the production of specialized machinery. Particular attention was paid to the implementation of import-substitution investment projects and expanding Russian and Belarusian companies’ mutual access to government support measures within the framework of the Union State.
