This week, Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Anton Alikhanov held a working meeting with Minister of Industry of the Republic of Belarus Andrey Kuznetsov.
The ministers held detailed discussions on the current state and future prospects of bilateral industrial cooperation. Particular attention was given to expanding cooperation in the automotive industry.
Following the meeting, the Belarusian Minister of Industry emphasized that cooperation between the two countries in industry and trade would continue to develop and stressed the importance of building on the progress already achieved. Mr. Kuznetsov also noted that cooperation is being carried out in the interests of industrial enterprises in both countries and with the aim of preserving the technological sovereignty of the Union State.
During the meeting, the Russian Minister of Industry and Trade also referred to “INNOPROM. Belarus”, which will take place from 30 September to 2 October.
"Last year's exhibition was a great success. Over the course of three days, it welcomed more than 14,000 visitors from 24 countries, while more than 500 companies showcased their products. I am confident that, through our joint efforts, this year's event will be just as successful," Alikhanov said.
